The Venue:
The Hangar has been a staple in West Auckland for the past 15 years for Food & Drink. When it comes to events, we go Big! We can hold 400+ people, with a massive separate Mezzanine area for private functions, the biggest weekly Pub Quiz night in the entire country, and an overall versatile area, used for Sports Events, Celebrations and After Work Get-Togethers.
The Job:
Hands on, customer focused role with a great team
Supervising others including delegating workloads, motivating staff and resolving disputes and/or issues
Delivering an unforgettable Hangar Bar experience to guests
Restaurant running / section & full bar service
Fun, variety, vibrant team dynamic
Assisting with the service of food and beverage items to customers

About You:
A Genuine, personable, fun, dynamic, ambitious, and driven person
Experienced in a very busy, fast paced bar / restaurant environment
Has a positive, flexible, confident, high achiever attitude
Is reliable & has great personal presentation
You will also have your Liquor Controller Qualification (LCQ) and a valid General Manager’s Certificate - this is essential
